The Vikings take on the visiting Dallas Cowgirls this Sunday in Week #2 of the NFL Playoffs. The Cowgirls have been playing some inspired football as of late; when they have typically crumbled in the latter part of the  last couple of seasons. As a die hard Vikings fan - I gotta believe we can win this one at home. The last couple of weeks of the season has scared me. We looked like we couldn't beat a High School team and the Favre vs Childress controversy just put it all over the top. The Vikings need to return to mid-season form if we are going to win this one. Back when AP & Chester Taylor were running thru huge lanes that our Offensive Line was opening. Favre was hitting all his passes and his receivers were running precise routes. We were picking up all the big 3rd downs and our special teams and our Defense was not letting any teams Offense get started. If we are going to win this game...we need to play mistake free football. Two weeks ago was not a good indicator of our team as the Giants layed down like a Lamb before the slaughter.

The two keys to the outcome of this game really comes down to: #1) the play of the left side of our offensive line and the ability of our TE's and RB's picking up the blitz. #2) the play of our right Defensive end (Jared Allen) getting pressure on Romo. Favre needs to have the outlet pass ready for when the blitz comes...and it will. Percy Harvin is going to be a big factor in this game. Hopefully the week off got some of our guys some much needed rest and we come out firing on all cylinders.

All you fans that are heading to the game - I got one message - I WANT TO HEAR SOME #$&% NOISE !!! I want to see ROMO so flustered that he can't hear himself crapping his drawers. You are solely responsible for at least 6 false starts. SKOL VIKES !!!

Greg the Greek's stats for the preseason and Vikings regular season games for this year:
I was 10 - 8 - 1 betting on Vikings sides and 9 - 10 on over / under for the year.
Not so bad; and not so good. Had a nice little streak mid-season there when the Vikes were on a roll !!

                                                          My prediction: Vikings & Under

                                                                               Cowboys - 20

                                                                                 Vikings - 24

I am a die-hard Vikings fan. This in no was sways my decision when it comes to wagering.
I learned a long time ago to bet with your head not your heart. There ya have it !

Go Vikings...(sound of the Alpine Horn in the background)
