Grossman's Future Uncertain PDF Print E-mail

ImageChicago Bears quarterback Rex Grossman is shelved for the rest of the season because of a sprained ligament in his left knee.
Grossman led the Bears to Super Bowl XLI last season — they lost 29-17 to the Indianapolis Colts — but he has been so erratic this season that head coach Lovie Smith demoted him to backup pivot behind Brian Griese for five weeks.
