If Chad was in Purple, that would make for a vastly improved lineup. Can you imagine Johnson, Berrian, Rice, Fergie, Allison?

A bunch of questions would need to be satisfied for it to happen. First is the team player, not to embarrass the owner thing. I don't know where Ocho Cinco rates on the prima donna scale, but he is selfish and demands the ball and pouts when he doesn't get it. Also, would he be willing to be at the receiving end of a "developing" quarterback?

Getting Johnson would guarantee that no safety would be in the box. If they tried, Tarvaris would count him there, audible with a barely perceptible movement and then we would see a ball zipping into the hands of a receiver that after he scores, hops in the long boat and starts to row. (This fantasy is almost too good...)

Remember that Frank Caliendo bit on Fox, which shows Chad Johnson scoring a TD and going over to the camera and operating it. Then we cut to Frank holding a sign that says "Hey Jackass, your team is still 4-7". (Couldn't find it on You Tube to attach)

That pretty much sums up my feelings of Chad Johnson, he's about #1 on my list of selfish prima donna players who ends up hurting a team with his whining. I think he would be bad for T-Jack by screaming at him when he underthrows a pass, and celebrating when the team is 4-7. I know we need talent at WR, but I can't think of a player like this who has helped his team win the Super Bowl (but I guess they've gotten them there).

I'll "pass" on Chad (bad pun intended)

I don't know....

The media always said that Randy Moss was a prima donna... I never believed it. They took many things out of contex. Media has always hated T.O. ... but he has not done anything that Moss hasn't already done.

I would be willing to give Ocho Sinco the benifit of the doubt... cause I just don't trust the media.

I agree, Randy was never the prima donna the media said he was. (Watch some old NFL games and you'll see Jerry Rice take plays off).

I do think Chad fits that description though. Everything he does seems to be about him. Just my opinion, but I still think he'd be bad for T-Jacks confidence, and would be a bad role model for Adrian Peterson (stay classy AP).

He reminds me a lot of T. Owens, I don't want him on my team but I certainly don't want to be playing against him either. What the NFL needs is more Marvin Harrison's and Reggie Wayne's (or should that be more Tony Dungy's)

You are 100% correct on that one [something I hadn't thought of]. We don't need bad influences affecting young minds. McKinnie's dalliances are from immature and poor decisions made off field, Ocho Cinco's are on the field and in the locker room. There is a huge difference there.

If Chad was around more people of good Company like AP, maybe, just maybe some of that class would rub off on him .... I mean he is on the Bungles... how many of them are in trouble?!?!

Remember AP paid for all the Vikes O-Line to go with him to Hawaii during pro bowl week. No one got in trouble when they were with AP, not even McKinny !
