Warren Sapp has decided to hang up his cleats after 13 years.  He started in the NFC Central and the Vikings had the privilege of figuring out how to stop his rush.  He had won a Super Bowl with the Bucaneers before eventually being traded to Oakland to grow old and frustrated.

SAPP SAYS SO LONG

Raiders defensive tackle Warren Sapp announced on Thursday that he's retiring after 13 NFL season.

Sapp was a first-round pick of the Bucs in 1995, and he signed with the Raiders as a free agent in 2004.

Coach Lane Kiffin strongly hinted on Monday that Sapp would pack it in.  He confided to a few reporters after the regular-season finale that he planned to pack it in, but he wanted to tell owner Al Davis first.
