The Reverend Al Sharpton is crowing again, this time feeling that police in Canton Ohio and elsewhere are too aggressive and especially towards black players.  He has given Pacman Jones as a prime example.   So his solution is to have enough players protest against police actions and to have the league cancel the Hall of Fame game in Canton to show the local Canton police their displeasure and to garner change. 

The National Action Network that was founded by Sharpton has a local chapter in Canton run by Mr. Richard Jones.  He is claiming that action is needed because of police officers, "general aggressiveness and over-the-line attitude to the citizens of Canton, especially the black citizens."

This year's HOF game is August 3rd with the Indianapolis Colts taking on the Washington Redskins.  If the Rev. Sharpton and Mr. Jones have their way, there will be no football and police everywhere will less aggressive.
