ImageMewelde Moore and the Steelers reached agreement Monday on a three-year contract.

 



Multiple teams attempted to acquire Moore from Minnesota before last season’s trade deadline.

Moore will be a solid third-down back in Pittsburgh and provides insurance in the event that running back Willie Parker struggles to return from last sesaon’s fractured leg.

I think the Steelers will be quite pleased with Mewelde as their #2 back. He and Willie Parker should make a good tandem for the newest 100 million dollar quarterback.

I'm happy for Moore and wish him well.
