I've heard and seen web rumors recently regarding Adrian Peterson being the face of Madden 2009. Good News so far for Vikings Fans is that the Madden Curse sounds more likely to live on through Eli Manning and not our beloved Rookie of the Year! Lets just keep our fingers crossed.

Then I ran across some sites that pointed to Peterson and some new commercials for Nike and was able to confirm this on Nike's football website. (See link below.) It's refreshing to see the new face of the franchise getting an endorsement deal with the company with as much exposure as Nike.

From this fan, I simply offer congratulations to Adrian Peterson; your work ethic and attitude on and off the field and your drive to become a better man and football player is paying you forward.

I urge all Vikings Fans to go to Nike’s website and see what I can only assume will be one of the commercials that will hit our TV screens in the very near future.
